Terms of use

These terms apply to the BatchAI Local desktop app and to this website. The app is published by TODO: legal name of the publisher (“we”). By installing or using the app, you accept these terms.

1. License

When you buy a Pro license, we grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to install and use BatchAI Local on the number of computers included in your license (up to 2 for Pro, up to 5 for Team or up to 10 for Business, or the number agreed in a quote), for personal or professional use. To move the license to another computer, deactivate it from the License screen first.

2. Free trial

You can use the app free for 3 days from your first batch, with up to 25 files per batch and 1 template of your own. After the trial, a license is required to run new batches; results obtained during the trial remain available for export.

3. Purchase

Licenses are sold by Lemon Squeezy, acting as merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy's terms apply to the payment, taxes and invoicing. Prices are shown in US dollars; taxes are calculated at checkout. Your license key is sent by email after payment.

4. Refunds

You can get a refund within 14 days of purchase, as described in the refund policy. A refunded license is deactivated.

5. Your AI provider

BatchAI Local works with your own account and API key at the AI provider you choose, or with a local model. You are responsible for the costs billed by your provider, for complying with its terms and usage policies, and for having the right to process the documents you send. Cost estimates shown by the app and on this website are indicative, based on public prices; your provider's invoice is the reference.

6. Results produced by AI

Extracted values are produced by an AI model and may be incomplete or wrong. Check them before relying on them, especially for accounting, legal or HR decisions. The app is not professional advice.

7. What you may not do

• Share, resell or sublicense your license key.
• Bypass the license or trial checks.
• Decompile or reverse engineer the app, except where the law expressly allows it.

8. Updates

9. Warranty and liability

The app is provided as is, to the extent permitted by law. Our total liability is limited to the price you paid for your license. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content. TODO: legal review of this section

10. Termination

If you breach these terms, your license may be terminated. You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.

11. Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. Consumers in the European Union keep the protection of the mandatory rules of their country of residence. Before going to court, consumers can use a consumer mediator free of charge: TODO: name and website of the consumer mediator (Code de la consommation, art. L.612-1). Competent courts: TODO: city.
